HOW DO I USE THE SUNBEDS?

Our shop is staffed by a friendly, highly trained team who will guide you through using the sunbeds and recommend what’s best for your skin, ensuring a safe, easy, and comfortable experience.

HOW LONG SHOULD I USE THE SUNBED FOR?

Sunbed times vary on skin type. Fair skin is advised 6–8 minutes, while darker skin may tan for longer—just remember areas not used to sun can burn more easily. Our fully trained team will always advise what’s best for you when you visit.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I USE THE SUNBED?

For clients new to tanning, and clients with fairer skin we advise little and often when building your base tan - so if you are planning ahead for a holiday please come a month or so in advance. If you are maintaining a tan, or have darker skin, you do not need to come as often and can stay on the bed for longer.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We always recommend wearing goggles on the beds to protect your eyes - which are sold in the salon and can be reused at every visit. We recommend to come wearing loose fitted clothing for comfort when you come off the bed, but lots of people wear whatever especially if they are just popping in. On the beds it is up to you, wear as little as possible for even tanning - your underwear is fine.

SHOULD I PUT ANYTHING ON MY SKIN?

If you are worried about specific sensitive areas of your skin you can use an SPF. Otherwise the more hydrated the better. Drink lots of water before and after. We also sell creams in store in sachet or tub form to help you get an even and enhanced tan.

WHAT AREAS OF MY BODY ARE MORE SENSITIVE?

If you think of the areas of skin that don't see the sunlight such as the top of your bottom, back, shoulders and backs of legs. Also areas that the skin is thinner, your under eyes and chest areas. This can vary for every person so we always recommend to start low and build up your minutes once you know what works well for your skin.

DO YOU OFFER DIFFERENT LIGHT THERAPY?

We offer both standard tanning bulbs and red light bulbs - both tan enhancing. Red light therapy helps boost collagen, improve skin tone, support skin repair, and enhance circulation—giving you a healthier, more radiant glow alongside your tan.
